AcceptableUsePolicy
Rules of the road for using the Serenity Insurance Group website, client portal, and any associated digital services.
Last updated: May 21, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes the behavior we expect from every visitor, client, and agent using Serenity Insurance Group's website, agent back-office, client portal (PolicyNest), and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the Services, you agree to follow this AUP. We may update it at any time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated version.
1. Permitted Use
The Services are provided to help clients evaluate insurance coverage and to support our licensed agents. You may use the Services for lawful, personal, and good-faith business purposes only. Any use that conflicts with our Terms of Service is also prohibited under this AUP.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law, including CMS marketing rules, HIPAA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and insurance licensing requirements.
- Misrepresent your identity, your relationship with Serenity Insurance Group, or any plan, benefit, or carrier.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any form (contact, career, quote, review, or invitation).
- Publish reviews you did not personally write or that you know to be false. Reviews submitted on agent pages are subject to moderation and may be removed.
- Solicit our agents or clients for products, services, or opportunities outside of your relationship with Serenity.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or commercial promotions through any contact form or messaging channel.
- Attempt to access, scrape, harvest, or copy non-public data belonging to other users or to the company.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, bypass any access controls, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, networks, or data.
- Upload or transmit malware, viruses, ransomware, or any code designed to disrupt or damage systems.
- Use the Services to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person or group.
- Misuse credentials, share login information, or impersonate another agent or client.
3. Agent Responsibilities
Licensed agents accessing the back-office (/dashboard, /admin) agree to additionally:
- Maintain a current, valid insurance license in every state where you transact business.
- Comply with CMS regulations when marketing Medicare Advantage and Part D, including the Scope of Appointment requirement.
- Keep your client data confidential and use it only for servicing the client's coverage.
- Keep your dashboard profile, headshot, bio, and licensed states accurate and up to date.
- Never publish false reviews or coerce clients to leave reviews.
4. Reviews and User-Submitted Content
Reviews posted on agent profile pages must reflect your own first-hand experience with the agent. Reviews are moderated and may be edited for clarity, redacted to remove personal information, or unpublished if they violate this AUP. We do not publish reviews containing profanity, hate speech, personal attacks, or content that violates applicable law.
5. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated this AUP. Serious violations — including security probes, fraud, or any conduct that puts clients at risk — may be reported to law enforcement, state insurance regulators, or carriers as appropriate.
6. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any conduct that violates this AUP, please email info@serenityinsurancegroup.com with as much detail as possible. We take every report seriously and respond within one business day.
